Happy Birthday Cael

Tomorrow, January 21st is Cael's 7th Birthday!!!

Today I was able to go to the school and celebrate Cael's Birthday with his class.  He made a poster with all of his favorite things on it.  He stood in front of his class and told them all about it.  When he was finished, I read one of Cael's favorite stories to his class.  He chose the book "Magic Boots".  Then he shared one of his favorite treats with his classmates... Twinkies!!!  It was a lot of fun and I an happy that I was able to go and see how excited Cael was.  

Cael is a wonderful boy.  He is so obedient.  When he brings his homework packet home for the week, I will tell him to finish all of his math on the first day and then we won't have to worry about it the rest of the week.  He will not do this, his teacher has told him that he should do one line of problems everyday, and he will not do anything different than what she has instructed him to do.  He is also very thoughtful, he always says please and thank you.  He is so sweet and I love him so much.  He has quite the sense of humor, and he loves to tease too, (he gets this from his Dad...).  

Cael is playing basketball for the first time this year.  He is one of the youngest kids, and he is doing so good.  He hasn't scored a basket yet, but he is great on defense.  He has such a great attitude about everything.  He is so easy going and a joy to be around.

We had a wonderful Christmas.  All of the boys were thrilled with their presents.  We really enjoyed spending time with our families and remembering the true meaning of the holiday season.  We are so grateful for our Savior and for his sacrifice.  It was so great attending church on Christmas.  We had an amazing program and the spirit was so strong.  

2011 has been a fun filled year and we are looking forward to the adventures that await us in 2012.

Happy Birthday Cooper

Where did the time go... I cannot believe that Cooper is officially a teenager!!!

Cooper is so much fun to have around.  He loves to tease me and his brothers.  There is never a dull moment when Cooper is around.  I love it when he hugs me.  He wraps his arms around me and squeezes as hard as he possibly can and then lifts me up off of the ground.  It is hard for me to realize that my boys are old enough and big enough to do this.  I am so proud of the young man that Cooper has become.  He is always willing to help me and I appreciate that.  I love him so much and I am grateful to be his mom.  

 We had a great time last night... Grandmas and Grandpas came over for his birthday and we had yummy cupcakes that Grandma Tam made.

Looking Forward to Spring 2012

 I am so excited for this book to come out.  I have been following nienie's blog for quite sometime.  She has written a book about her amazing story.  The book doesn't some out until spring 2012, but you can now pre-order it. 

Stephanie's faith is so strong.  I can feel her strength as I read the posts on her blog.
