Cord is 7 Years Old

Yesterday was Cord's 7th Birthday. He is growing up so fast. He loves First Grade and he especially loves his teacher Mrs. Child. He is doing very well in school and I'm looking forward to a great report at parent-teacher conferences next week. His favorite things to do are playing the Wii, and wrestling/fighting with Cael. They call it wrestling, I call it fighting. Either way, someone usually ends up crying.

Last Saturday we had a combined birthday party for Cord and Cael. I had 12 boys at my house. Cord had a Star Wars theme and Cael had a Batman theme. One highlight from the party was walking down stairs and finding Cord sitting on top of the refrigerator throwing balls at his friends. After getting a good scolding, we found out that this is a regular occurrence for Cord. Trust me when I say that I don't think that he will ever do that again. The party was a lot of fun, but I think next time we will have separate parties. I am used to being out numbered, but not like that.

Cord is a character and can always make me smile. I love that he still likes to sit on my lap and cuddle. At church him and Cael fight over who gets to sit on my lap. I know that it won't be much longer and he will grow out of that.

Cord is so handsome...

I am so blessed to be his mother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORD!!!!

Happy Birthday Cael

Today is Cael's 5th Birthday...
Where does the time go? This past week, I have been trying to convince Cael that he is going to be three. I suggested that we should start counting backwards, because I don't want him to grow up. He is not having any part of that. He is so excited to turn five and go to Kindergarten in the Fall.

Cael is such a happy boy. He is so easy going. I guess you have to be when you are the fourth boy in the family. He has been to countless football games, basketball games, soccer games and wrestling meets. He is constantly telling me that he can't wait until he is old enough to play.

This face says it all...
Happy
Fun
Sweet
Loving
Thoughtful
He is Mom's Boy!!! And he is the only one out of the four that kind of looks like me. He brings so much joy and happiness into our family, and he loves to have his picture taken.

I woke him up this morning by singing Happy Birthday to him. When he finally opened his eyes, he threw his arms around my neck, kissed me on the cheek and told me that he loved me. Life doesn't get much better than that!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAEL

Happy Birthday Cooper

Boy how time flies... Eleven years ago today Cooper was born. I remember waking up early to get ready to go to work and I quickly informed Greg that I didn't think that either of us would be going to work that day. We arrived at the hospital around 8 a.m. and found out that I was already dilated to a 9. I immediately started to cry because I didn't think that I was going to be able to get an epidural. However, I was quickly informed that I could still get one because my water had not broke. I got the drugs and then found out that my doctor was down the hall in surgery. I was told to lay there on my side and whatever you do, do not move. The doctor finally arrived and Cooper John Cypers was born at 9:07 a.m. (QUICK AND EASY)

Cooper LOVES being outside and he especially LOVES spending time with Grandpa Dave. I always joke around and say that Cooper would rather live with Grandpa Dave than with me, but the joke's on me because he really would move to Grandpa's if he could. He really admires Grandpa Dave. Just recently he had to take a picture to school of his hero and YES, you guessed it, he took a picture of Grandpa Dave. Cooper spends most of the summer following Grandpa around and working side-by-side with him.

Cooper is so much fun and has such a great sense of humor (he gets that from his Dad). He is always joking around or teasing his brothers. He brings so much love and joy into our family. I LOVE him so much and feel so blessed to be his mother.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOP!!!

Halloween 2009

We LOVE Halloween at our house. So we go all out...
This year Greg and I decided to go with the Cowboys and Indians theme.
The boys all picked out their own costumes. They get their creativity from their Dad.
Cooper decided to be a HOBO!
Cael is the HULK!
Cord the Hippie!
Colton is a scarecrow!

We had a fun holiday and had a lot of opportunities to dress up, and YES, we are already planning for next year!!!

WFFL Mini Bowl 2009

Colton's team made it to the Mini Bowl this year. They played on Halloween at Weber State University. The team played great. They won 21 - 0, and went undefeated all year long.
Colton's team was GREAT!!! What a wonderful group of boys, and his coaches were the BEST!!!

Colton and Coach Mecham

Football definitely brings our family together. It is something that we all enjoy, and it's a good thing, because even the little boys are counting down the days until they get to play.

Family Fun

It has been a while since my last post, and we are still playing football. Both Colton and Cooper's teams went undefeated in the regular season and are going into the playoffs in first place. The last four weeks have been very busy with practice and games but we all love every minute of it. Cord is also still playing soccer and more often than not, all of their games are at the same time or overlap.

Colton playing in Ogden Valley. I love this picture, I think that it makes him look really tough and intimidating... All very good qualities on the football field.

Cord playing soccer... He is so aggressive, and kind of a ball hog. But he scores a lot of goals.

And Cooper, I haven't been able to make it to the last couple of Cooper's games. Greg cannot take photos while he is coaching. So I thought I would share with you what I found the other night when I went to check on Cooper before I went to bed. He had made a hut on his bed. I thought that it was very creative, so I ran and got the camera.

Sound asleep...

Cael spent this morning at the corn maze with his preschool class. He had a great time and was very proud to inform me that he had gone on the big slide all by himself. Last year, he would not go down it and he told me that was because he was only three. This year he is much bigger and can now go down the slide.
