ALOHA

On Sunday, all of the boys wore their Hawaiian shirts to church. I just had to share this picture of my handsome boys.

4th of July FUN!

The Cypers Family had a wonderful 4th of July. It started out at the wonderful Hooper parade. Following the parade, we went up to Grandpa John's and Grandma Tam's to swim. This was a nice relief, because the tempature was about 102. After a long afternoon of swimming, we rushed off to the annual Maughan Family 4th Celebration at Rod & Mindy's house.

Rod was a great cook, the hotdogs and hamburgers were top notch.

The boys even had a friendly game of football in the back pasture.

And what summer party is complete without a water balloon fight?

Cael wasn't sure if he liked the fireworks...

Our night was topped off with a beautiful sunset and amazing fireworks.

Preschool Graduation

Well it's official, Cord has graduated from preschool. He attended Treasure House Preschool and loved every minute of it. They went on so many fun field trips, he learned a lot of fun songs and stories and he made new friends. His favorite part of the whole experience was his teacher, Miss Brenda.

Now he is looking forward to kindergarten. He cannot wait to ride the bus home from school. I cannot believe that he is ready to go to school. Time goes by so fast. Congratulations CORD!!!

We've Been Tagged

What is his name? Gregory Lyle

How long have you been together? 15 Years! I cannot believe how time flies.

How long did you date? We dated for 9 months, but we new that we were ment for each other after 5 months. We got engaged on December 11th.

How old is he? This year he will be the BIG 40 on December 4th.

Who eats more? He does.

Who said I love you first? He did.

Who is taller? He is, but not by much!

Who is smarter? It depends on the subject.

Who does the laundry? Me, and that's the way I like it.

Who does the dishes? We all do. Greg, me and the boys. We all pitch in.

Who pays the bills? I do. Greg has no clue, if we were making more money I could take him to the cleaners.

Who mows the lawn? Greg does it with only 9 3/4 fingers. About 5 years ago, Greg had a run in with the lawn mower, and needless to say, the lawn mower won!

Who cooks dinner? We both cook dinner!! I work three days a week and he gets home from work earlier that I do. So I am very lucky that dinner is ready when I get home. I am also fortunate that my wonderful mother cooks dinner for us every Sunday.

Who drives when you are together? Greg! I like to drive, but he can't stand not being behind the wheel.

Who is more stubborn? I am, I really, really like to get my way.

Who kissed who first? After dating for about 3 months, Greg finally made the move and held my hand!! It was not long after that, that he finally kissed me.

Who asked who out first? Greg asked me out. It was a blind date. I had a class with his sister at college and she set us up.

Who proposed? He did!! On December 11, 1992. We went out to dinner and then went to Christmas Village to see the lights. After that he drove me to Beus Pond, by Weber State, on the way it started to snow. By the time that we got there, it was snowing so hard. The biggest snowflakes that I have ever seen. We got out of the car and he got down on one knee in the snow and asked me to marry him. It was very Romantic, until the drive home. He had a Porche at the time, and it didn't drive the best in the snow. At one point we were driving down the hill sideways.

Who has more siblings? We have the same, TWO. I have 2 brothers (Rod & Russ) He has 1 brother & 1 sister (Steve & Nicole)

Who wears the pants in the family? I'd like to think that I do, but I know that he likes to think that he does. I guess that it is best that way. Everyone is happy.

I tag Brooke Kap and Natalie Maughan. Have fun...

Hawaiian Vacation

Greg and I went to Hawaii at the beginning of the month to celebrate our 15 Year Anniversary. We spent a week on Kauai, just the two of us. It was so relaxing and so beautiful. This is a picture at Kipu Falls. There is a 25ft waterfall that you can jump off of and a rope swing. Greg was very BRAVE and jump several times. I was not so brave...I could not make myself jump.

We went to several beaches, went on a killer hike, snorkeled, went on a Napali Coast boat tour and we enjoyed very minute of it. We were there during whale season, and on our bout tour we saw several whales.

We have already started to save so we can take our boys with us next time.

Handsome Cypers Boys...

I Love this picture. This picture was taken last Saturday, April 26th. The boys were all dressed up looking their BEST to attend the funeral of their Great-Grandma Moss. We were all very sad to hear that Grandma Moss had past away. I am so grateful that my boys had the opportunity to get to know Grandma Moss. All of my Grandparents pasted away before any of the boys were old enough to remember them. I married into such a wonderful family. My mother-in-law, Tam is such an example to me and to the boys. She took every opportunity to spend time with her mother, and to help Grandpa Moss care for Grandma. We are so blessed to have such an amazing Grandma and Mother.
