Scouts Scouts Scouts

Tuesday night was a very busy night for us. It started out at football practice for both Colton and Cooper and then we had Young Men/Young Women, The Raingutter Ragatta for Cooper and a Scout Court of Honor for Colton. Oh didn't I mention that they were all at the same time. Needless to say, I didn't make it to Young Women.
We had a great time, Cooper had several races. This is him racing his friend Wilson.
When all of the races were complete, Cooper ended up going undeafeated and winning 1st Place.

Colton received his very first merit badge in Boy Scouts. He got his Communications badge.

Cole & Cooper's First Day of School

School started on Monday, and the boys were very excited to be headed back to school. The boys got up and were out the door and at the bus stop 40 minutes before the bus was scheduled to arrive. I don't recall ever being that excited to go to school.

Look how handsome they look for their first day...

Colton is in the sixth grade this year. His teacher is Mrs. Tonioli. He had her last year in the fifth grade and he is very excited to be in her class again this year. Colton came home from school on the first day and talked non-stop about all of the fun and exciting things that they have planned for the year.
Cooper is in the fourth grade this year. His teacher is Mrs. Hansen. He is so excited to have so many of his friends in his class.

This year has gone by so quickly. I am having a hard time believing that it is already time for school to start. The boys are growing up so fast, and I am so proud of them. I feel so blessed to be their mom and to be able to watch them grow, learn and experience new things.

Fun Day on Front Runner

Me and the boys planned one last day of FUN, before school starts. On Wednesday, we went to the Roy Front Runner station and caught the train to SLC. The boys were all very excited.
We went to lunch and did some last minute school shopping at Gateway. After all of that we went to the Olympic Plaza Fountain. That's when all of the fun started.

It was so much fun to watch the boys playing in the fountain. They had a great time. Once they were all waterlogged, we headed back to catch the train back to Roy. It is a good thing that the train wasn't that crowded, because the boys all got very comfortable for the ride back.

Cooper is making a quick call to Grandma, letting her know all about our adventures.

The boys were good and I really enjoyed spending the day with them. I cannot believe how fast they are growing up. Cord is starting Kindergarten on September 2, and Colton is going to turn 12 next month. You know what that means...I am getting OLD.

My Mom and I took Cord, Cael, Ashlyn, Jordan and Colby to Snowbird for a few days. At first I thought that I must be crazy to agree to this, but we have had a wonderful time. Take a look at all of the FUN that we had.

WOW, How Time Flies...

It has been forever since I have updated our blog. So much has been happening.

The Miss Rodeo Utah Pageant and the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo are over and they were both a great success. We had 10 girls in the pageant and everything ran smoothly. The 2008 Miss Rodeo Utah is Renae Cowley from West Point.

Since then, I have been trying to spend as much time as possible with the boys. We have been swimming alot at Grandma Tam's and Grandpa John's. The boys love to go there as much as possible.

Cord loves the pool. He is always trying to one up his big brothers.

Colton is mastering the back flip.

Cooper is a FISH, he loves the water. We usually have to drag him out when it is time to go home.

Cael is always just happy to be there.

I have a crazy crew, but I love them. They are so much fun!!

ALOHA

On Sunday, all of the boys wore their Hawaiian shirts to church. I just had to share this picture of my handsome boys.

4th of July FUN!

The Cypers Family had a wonderful 4th of July. It started out at the wonderful Hooper parade. Following the parade, we went up to Grandpa John's and Grandma Tam's to swim. This was a nice relief, because the tempature was about 102. After a long afternoon of swimming, we rushed off to the annual Maughan Family 4th Celebration at Rod & Mindy's house.

Rod was a great cook, the hotdogs and hamburgers were top notch.

The boys even had a friendly game of football in the back pasture.

And what summer party is complete without a water balloon fight?

Cael wasn't sure if he liked the fireworks...

Our night was topped off with a beautiful sunset and amazing fireworks.
