Never A Dull Moment...
Unfortunately, he has to miss a Halloween Party with his friends tomorrow night, and he is missing a skit that he is supposed to be in at school today. He feels pretty bad about that. But we are just happy that he came through the surgery so well. Nothing is worse than having a sick child and not being able to make him feel better.
The doctors and the nurses have been so great, and have taken such good care of Colton. We are so grateful for all of their help. Also, thanks Aunt Mindy for taking care of Cord and Cael for us.Posted by Nicole at 12:22 PM 9 comments

A Day on the Farm
The farm has a full time veterinarian on staff. He was telling the kids all about how he takes care of all of the sick cows.
Cord and Cael loved the calves. Notice all of the flies in the pictures.
Cameron and Cael were checking out the cows in the milk barn.
A funny thing happened when we were inside the milk barn. Cord was getting as close as he could to check out what was happening. Then one of the cows kicked and flipped its tail, and guess what landed on Cord's face right above his lip? That's right...Cow Poop, as Cord put it. Then without hesitation, he wiped it off of his face and on to my jacket.

Cael's First Day of Preschool
Monday was Cael's first day of preschool. His teacher's name is Miss Brenda. He was so excited to go. I was informed that I needed to take his picture on the porch, just like I did for Colton and Cooper's first day of school. Look how grown up he is. And yes, I cried...my baby is going to preschool. I cannot believe the change in him after going to school just two times. He has not stopped talking. He loves to tell Greg and I about the songs that he has learned, the sound the letter "O" makes and the story about the Old Lady who swallowed the fly. I am so proud of him, he is such a good boy and he always has a smile on his face.

Go Cougars!!
The game was so much fun. The best part is that we actually know one of the BYU players. Andrew Rich, he is a Defensive Back, and he is a Sophomore and he played on the special teams kick off. Colton was watching for Andrew on every play. Greg coached Andrew in Little League Football for four years.
Colton was a great date. We really had a good time together. I am glad that every once in a while that I can spend some one on one time with the boys.
I told Colton that if we are going to go to the games, that we had better learn the BYU fight song, because I think that we were the only ones in the stadium that weren't singing it. Oh Well, we will be better prepared for the next game.Posted by Nicole at 10:08 PM 4 comments

Cord's First Day of School
Cord has a great teacher, her name is Mrs. Cragun. We also found out that my Kindergarten teacher, Miss Kawaguchi is going to be helping out in his class. I was so excited to find this out. Miss Kawaguchi was my favorite elementary school teacher, and I was LUCKY enough to get her for the second grade too.
After Cord got home from school, I asked him what his favorite part of the day was, and he was proud to report that it was riding the BUS home.
